Terms of Service
Last updated
These terms apply when you use qourlex.com and when your business uses the AI receptionist service that Qourlex AI builds and manages. By using the website or the service, you agree to them.
If anything here is unclear, ask us at saad@qourlex.com before you sign up.
1. About Qourlex AI
Qourlex AI builds and manages AI receptionists for home service businesses. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean Qourlex AI, and “you” means the business using our website or service.
2. Using this website
The information on this website is general. Figures from other organizations are linked to their sources and belong to them. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we are not responsible for their content.
Please don’t misuse the website, for example by trying to break it, overload it or send spam through the contact form.
3. The service
We build an AI voice receptionist for your business, connect it to the calendar and other tools you choose, set up call alerts and summaries for your team, and then manage, update and support it each month.
The exact scope, including your services, hours, service area, the prices you want quoted and what counts as an emergency, is agreed with you in writing before we start.
4. Fees and payment
- Setup: a one-time fee of $1,500, paid before work begins. The setup fee is non-refundable.
- Monthly management: $300 to $500 a month, depending on the plan agreed with you, for as long as the service runs.
- Call usage: charged directly to your own accounts by the platforms the receptionist runs on, at their rates. We do not mark these costs up.
Prices on this website can change. Your monthly fee is the one agreed with you when you sign up, and it only changes if we agree a new fee with you.
5. Cancelling
There is no long-term contract. You can cancel the monthly service at any time by emailing saad@qourlex.com with 30 days’ notice. The service and monthly billing continue during those 30 days and end when they are over. There is no cancellation fee, and the setup fee is not refunded.
Because the receptionist is built inside your own accounts, you keep them when you cancel. We remove our access at the end of the notice period.
We may pause or end the service if fees go unpaid or if the service is used unlawfully. Otherwise, we will give you 30 days’ notice before we stop providing it.
6. Services from other companies
The receptionist runs on services from other companies, including Vapi, phone, calendar, CRM and messaging providers, set up in your own accounts. Their terms apply to your use of them. We are not responsible for their outages, changes or prices.
7. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Giving us accurate information about your business, including your services, prices, hours, service area and emergency rules
- Reviewing and approving the greeting, the scripts and any safety steps the receptionist gives callers
- Telling callers what the law requires. Calls are recorded, and several US states require the consent of everyone on a call before it is recorded, so your greeting should say that calls may be recorded. Some laws also require telling people they are speaking with AI.
- Your own privacy notice to your customers, and following the rules for any text messages your business sends
- Holding the licenses your trade requires
- Keeping your own process for handling emergencies and urgent calls
- Not using the service for anything unlawful, including automated calls to people who have not agreed to receive them
8. What the AI can and can’t do
The receptionist is AI. It can mishear a caller, misunderstand a request, book a job at the wrong time or fail to recognize an emergency. Please review the call summaries and recordings you receive.
We work to make it accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee any number of answered calls, booked jobs or amount of revenue.
9. Not an emergency service
The receptionist is not an emergency service and does not send emergency help. Recognizing an emergency is done on a best-effort basis using the rules you set. Any safety steps it gives callers are general information that you approve. Callers in danger are told to call 911, and callers who smell gas are told to leave the building and call 911 or their gas utility from outside.
10. Your data and confidentiality
The information callers give your receptionist belongs to your business. We handle it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Each of us will keep the other’s confidential business information private and use it only for the service.
11. Ownership
You own your accounts, the receptionist built inside them, and your call recordings, transcripts and data. We keep ownership of our general know-how, methods and templates, which we may reuse for other clients. None of your data is part of them.
12. Limits of liability
The website and the service are provided as they are, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost profits or lost jobs.
If we are ever responsible for a loss, the most we will pay in total is the amount of monthly fees you paid us in the 3 months before the claim. This limit does not apply where the law does not allow it.
13. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms, we update the date at the top of this page. If you are a client, we will email you about a change that affects you before it takes effect.
